Yes. On Mac, the app uses setContentProtection(true) which calls macOS's CGWindowSharingNone at the OS level. On Windows it uses WDA_EXCLUDEFROMCAPTURE. Both exclude the window from the capture API that Zoom, Teams, Meet, and OBS use — architecturally, not just hidden.
This is macOS Gatekeeper blocking an unsigned app. The app is not damaged. Fix: run xattr -cr "/Applications/AstraOffer Assistant.app" in Terminal. You only need to do this once.
Yes. The warning appears because the app is not code-signed. The source code is fully open on GitHub. Click "More info" → "Run anyway" to proceed. You only see this once.
No. The app uses system audio loopback — only the interviewer's voice from your speakers. Your microphone is not used. Your resume and session context stay on your device.
